Refurbished large holiday-type hotel, now with interest in real ale briefly coming and going heavily used by coach tour companies. There are still handpumps all over the place but no longer selling real ale. They have had none in for ages and there is no policy to get any in the future. If you stay there, fortunately there are three good real ale outlets a short walk away into the village centre, and one at the other end of the village.
